Here are two more things from my collection of vintage beauty items. This Baker's Hair Tonic was something that was in my grandpa's medicine cabinet when he passed away. We were cleaning out the house and I couldn't part with this. It still smells nice, too.
This Goody* French Roll Foundation is made just like brush rollers. It isn't very big, only about 4 inches long. It would still be great for someone with shorter, thin hair. I imagine a lady in a smart, tweed suit wearing one in her neat updo as she goes to her office job in the early days of women's lib.
I wanted to start collecting vintage hair things the minute I ran across the first little thrift shop find several years ago. My collection is steadily growing as I find more unique items.
